Description
Portland cement is a material for the production of concrete, masonry and plaster mortars, small precast elements and soil stabilization. Cement IV is also called pozzolanic. Due to the pozzolan content, it has high resistance to aggressive environments (for example, sulfate water). It is especially recommended for use in the construction of: foundations, basements, first floors, fences, external stairs, terraces, fastening elements of garden architecture to the ground, etc.
Puzzolanic cement has applications similar to metallurgical cement. Both are resistant to acid rain. The advantage of pozzolanic cement is that it is not as sensitive to drying out during the first 14 days after pouring concrete as metallurgical cement.
Puzzolanic cement is dark gray. This is due to the high content of Portland clinker.
The presence of impurities affects the chemical properties. They do not impact the consumption of cement. It depends on the class of concrete being produced.
